Job Description

Senior Insurance Analyst Duration:
6 months
Location:
Dallas, TX (hybrid) Responsibilities Conduct review of loan documents on all new loans, as it relates to insurance requirements. Notify borrowers of expirations/deficiencies, where insurance does not comply with loan documents. Audit insurance renewals, completing comparison against the Insurance Module and documents received. Communicate with insurance agencies, prior servicers and/or borrowers to obtain evidence of renewal of certificates/policies/policy endorsements. Complete insurance disbursements, as needed.
Assist Borrowers/Agents re:
incoming inquiries involving insurance disputes, insurance requirements, premium payments and cancellation notices. Identify loans where expired insurance requires force placed insurance. Communicate with Asset Management and Servicing, as necessary. Keep manager updated on problems, issues, and production flow. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Insurance license equivalent a plus; need a minimum of five years related commercial insurance experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience. Experience with HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, a plus. Position requires a detailed understanding of loan terms, complex loan documents, capital structures, pooling, investor reporting and servicing agreements, servicing functions, and process flows. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform in a strong customer-oriented team environment utilizing strong leadership skills, professionalism, and teamwork. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidate needs to be able to communicate and make presentations to all levels of staff and management. Ability to multi-task and work independently in a time sensitive environment.
