Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Coordinator to lead the planning, organization, and execution of a wide variety of events. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into comprehensive event plans. Manage all phases of event planning including venue selection, catering arrangements, entertainment, and technical setups. Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure the best terms and services. Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost control while maximizing quality and guest satisfaction. Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track progress, manage client communications, and coordinate logistics efficiently. Coordinate marketing efforts for events through targeted campaigns, social media promotion, and outreach strategies. Lead on-site event management to ensure smooth operations, guest experience excellence, and timely problem resolution. Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance client satisfaction and revenue opportunities. Supervise team members and vendors during events to ensure high standards of service delivery. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in event planning or management within the hospitality or events industry. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and pricing. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team leadership, and vendor negotiations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as event management software and CRM systems. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional time management skills. Experience in managing event budgets from initial planning through final reconciliation. Knowledge of catering operations, banquet services, and guest hospitality standards. Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high levels of customer service and professionalism. Technical proficiency in audiovisual equipment setup and troubleshooting is a plus. Hospitality industry experience including banquet operations or catering is highly desirable. $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
