Our successful medical office is growing and needs an Experienced Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position. The person filling this role will be based in our Murfreesboro office. The Prior Authorization Specialist is responsible for obtaining prior authorizations by phone and insurance portals. A strong knowledge of scheduling, insurance, CPT and ICD-10 codes is required. Must be familiar with contracts, payer guidelines and Medicare LCDs. This person must be comfortable with calling other Health Care provider offices, insurance companies and patients. The ideal candidate will be organized and able to work on a timeline, promote a team-orientated atmosphere and takes initiative.

Qualifications:

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience obtaining prior authorizations and scheduling in a physician office setting. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
