Join our team as a Loss Mitigation Representative , where you'll help customers get back on track with their accounts while gaining hands-on experience in collections, insurance claims, and vehicle recovery processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning tough conversations into positive outcomes. What You'll Do Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, working to bring them current through outbound and inbound customer calls Use skip tracing techniques to locate customers and resolve accounts Coordinate repossession efforts, including assigning accounts, managing vendor relationships, and reviewing holds, reinstatements, and redemption requests Partner with recovery agents on vehicle location, pickup, and condition reporting Handle insurance claims on total loss and partial loss accounts, working directly with insurance carriers, repair facilities, GAP providers, and customers to resolve balances Review total loss settlements for accuracy — including payoffs, deficiency balances, and GAP claims Process cancellations on ancillary products (GAP, warranties, service contracts) and apply refunds or credits as needed What You Bring High school diploma or GED 1+ year of auto finance loss mitigation or insurance claim handling experience highly preferred Working knowledge of collections practices, loan repayment structures, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Comfort working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
