Job Description

We are seeking a fun and detail-oriented Checkout/Accounts and Insurance Advocate to join our Dixie Eye Care family. We will provide all necessary training, so no experience is necessary but helpful. We appreciate long-term, mature employees.
Your schedule would be:
Monday (1/2 day), T-F 8:30 am - close (5:30ish). Duties Review and process medical claims using billing software, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to ensure timely reimbursement. Maintaining positive patient relationships through excellent customer service. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify billing details or coding discrepancies. Generate reports on billing status, outstanding accounts, and insurance claims. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and insurance representatives. Ability to help patients understand their insurance benefits and discuss their charges with a "level-head".

From $15.00 per hour
