Commercial Lines Account Manager / Producer Palmer, Alaska | Full-Time | $70,000 Base + Incentives We are expanding again and adding to our team! Silva Insurance Services, LLC is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager / Producer to join our growing independent insurance agency. This is primarily a new-business sales position , working with incoming commercial opportunities generated by the agency. You'll work with business owners to understand their insurance needs, develop and present coverage options, and close new business. You'll also be part of our Commercial Lines team and provide account management coverage and support when needed , giving us flexibility during vacations, busy periods, or other team absences. What You'll Do Work incoming commercial insurance opportunities Build relationships with prospective clients and business owners Identify coverage needs and gather underwriting information Market accounts with our carrier partners Prepare and present insurance proposals Follow up consistently and close new business Complete a clean handoff of new accounts to the Commercial Lines Account Management team Maintain an organized and active sales pipeline Assist with commercial account management when needed, including renewals, policy changes, coverage questions, remarketing, and client service Work collaboratively with our Commercial Lines Account Manager and support team What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with commercial insurance experience who is comfortable with both sales and account management . You should understand commercial coverages, enjoy working with business owners, be confident presenting insurance solutions, and have the ability to step into an account management role when the team needs additional support. An Alaska Property & Casualty license is required or must be obtained. Compensation $70,000 annual base salary + new-business incentives Strong producers have the opportunity to earn significantly above the base salary. Why Silva Insurance?
