Licensed Health Insurance Agent (LOA) — Take Over an Established Book Peritia Advisors / Zero Bullsh!t Insurance — Ely, Iowa | Full-time, in office You'd be taking over a book, not building one from scratch. I've got an established book of business, and I need someone to own it so I can focus on growing the agency. That means you walk into existing clients, existing renewals, existing referrals. No cold calling. No buying leads out of your own pocket. No starving for six months while you "build a pipeline." Let's be straight about what LOA means. You'd be a Licensed Only Agent. You write under our carrier contracts, not your own. The agency owns the book. In exchange, you skip the contracting headaches, the carrier paperwork, the E&O shopping, and the marketing spend. You get handed clients and you get paid to take care of them. If you want to own your own book someday, this isn't that job — and I'd rather tell you now than waste both our time. What you'd actually do

• Service and retain an existing book of health, Medicare, and related clients
• Handle inbound client calls, plan questions, claims issues, and carrier follow-up
• Run annual reviews and re-shops, especially through AEP and open enrollment
• Write new business from referrals and existing household cross-sells
• Keep the CRM clean — notes, tasks, follow-ups, policy status What you need
• Active Iowa health insurance license (already held — we're not sponsoring a first-timer through pre-licensing)
• Live within about 30 minutes of

• Comfortable on the phone all day and honest with people when the answer isn't what they wanted
• Organized enough to follow a process, independent enough not to need babysitting
• AHIP and Medicare certifications a plus; we'll get you there if you're not What you get
