This one hands you a book. Our American Family Insurance agency in Blue Springs is hiring a dedicated Life Specialist to own life insurance across the agency, both writing new business and working our existing client base. Hundreds of our auto and home clients have never had a real conversation about protecting their family's income. That conversation is your job. You will split your time between two things: developing new life clients through referrals, community connections, and outreach, and conducting reviews with existing agency households, people who already know us, already trust us, and already say yes to us on other lines. You will also service the life policies already on the books: annual reviews, beneficiary updates, and coverage adjustments as families change. This role suits someone who believes in the product. Life insurance is sold in conversations about kids, mortgages, small businesses, and what happens if the paycheck stops. If you can have those conversations with warmth and without flinching, you will do very well here, and you will be paid on a base plus commission structure that reflects it. Licensed candidates preferred. Strong unlicensed candidates with sales ability will be considered and supported through licensing.
