Insurance Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member Position Overview Shuff Mauldin State Farm is a neighborhood agency rooted in the Laurel, MS community. We are hiring an Insurance Account Representative who wants to grow a sales practice among the people they live near — neighbors, local business owners, and families whose lives we are part of every day. This is local sales with real relationships at the center. Responsibilities Follow a structured sales process from first conversation through policy placement and follow-up Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in the agency system Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals Participate in product training and licensing coursework Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process You Will Do Well Here If You Would rather learn a skill that pays for the rest of your career than take a job that just pays this year Want your income tied to your results, not just your hours Are comfortable starting conversations with people who did not ask you to call This Probably Is Not Your Role If You Want the phone to ring for you rather than making the calls yourself Prefer a predictable day with no production targets Qualifications Prior sales, retail, or customer-facing experience preferred — insurance training and licensing provided Self-motivated and comfortable with consistent outreach and follow-up Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication Benefits Base salary plus performance-based commission

Base salary varies based on experience and licensing. Commissions are uncapped, and high performers regularly exceed this range. This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies.
