Job Description

Job Summary TI Agency is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Licensed Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance Agent to join our team in Missoula, Montana . In this role, you will act as a consultative risk advisor to community members. You will manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to policy issuance, while providing top-tier ongoing account management. This position requires an active Montana state insurance license and a commitment to helping clients protect their most valuable assets.
Key Responsibilities Drive New Business :
Prospect, network, and use local marketing methods to find new clients.
Conduct Needs Assessments :
Listen to prospects to analyze their risk exposures and financial status.
Provide Accurate Quotes :
Customize and quote auto, home, and commercial policies using agency systems.
Close Consultative Sales :
Explain policy terms, coverage limits, and exclusions clearly to bind new coverage.
Manage Client Accounts :
Handle policy renewals, changes, and standard service requests via the service team.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance :
Maintain strict adherence to Montana insurance laws and underwriting guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements Work Location:
Ability to commute daily to our Missoula office; this role does not offer remote or hybrid options.
Active Licensing:
Must possess a valid Montana Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Industry Experience:
1-3 years of insurance sales or account customer service preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience using multi-carrier comparative rating software and CRM databases.
Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal and phone presentation skills to explain complex terms simply.
Local Insight:
Familiarity with the Missoula market and geographic risk factors (e.g., wildfire or winter weather exposures). Benefits & Compensation •
Hourly Pay:
Base salary + Uncapped commissions Continued education support and professional development mentorship.
Pay:
$38,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
