Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Producer to drive new business growth and develop long term relationships with commercial clients. This position is ideal for a motivated insurance sales professional who is comfortable prospecting, building a pipeline, presenting solutions, and taking ownership of the sales process from initial contact through closing.

Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new commercial insurance business through prospecting, referrals, networking, cold outreach, community involvement, and professional relationships.

Identify prospective clients and develop relationships with business owners, key decision makers, centers of influence, and referral sources.

Manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, follow up, presentations, negotiations, and closing.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline while consistently working toward established production and revenue objectives.

Develop and maintain long term client relationships by understanding business needs and recommending appropriate commercial insurance solutions.

Partner with account management teams and insurance carriers to provide a smooth and professional client experience.

Maintain consistent follow through on client commitments and sales activities.

Stay knowledgeable about commercial insurance products, coverage options, markets, and industry developments.

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and sales activity within agency systems.

Work independently while collaborating with the broader team to support overall agency growth.

RequirementsActive Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Producer with demonstrated success generating new business.

Track record of meeting or exceeding sales and production goals.

Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products, coverages, and markets.

Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close new business.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Strong networking and relationship building capabilities.

Highly self motivated, persistent, organized, and accountable.

Strong follow through with the ability to manage multiple prospects, opportunities, and client commitments.

Effective time management and sales pipeline management skills.

Professional approach with a strong focus on client service and long term relationships.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
