Join our team! Burns Insurance is a full service, independent insurance agency that has been Family owned and operated since 1971. We have 18 locations across Wyoming, Nebraska and Montana. Burns Insurance has thrived offering exceptional customer service while finding our clients the best coverage at the best price on anything they need insured. Insurance Producer. This is a customer-service, sales-driven position, and you'll be able to build and expand your professional career by selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients within your community. This is a full-time position in our Scottsbluff, NE office. This position offers great growth potential and advancement opportunities - we love to promote from within!
Responsibilities:
- Meet new people! Expand your community connections with networking opportunities!
- Quote, present, and sell insurance policies
- Service existing and new insurance policies, including managing the renewal or remarketing process
- Maintain client and policy information in the Agency Management System
- Work with underwriters from insurance carriers to properly cover customer's assets and risk
- Comply with insurance standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Must attain a P&C insurance license within 60 days of employment (if not already licensed)
- Previous experience in insurance or sales preferred, but not required
- Outgoing, engaging, energetic personality
- Excellent phone and email communication skills
- Be self-motivated and have a high level of initiative and follow through
- Proficient in technology related to an insurance office including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe documents, electronic document signatures, VOIP phones, and learn our Agency Management System
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to be qualified by the Department of Insurance to be appointed as a licensed insurance agent by multiple carriers Pay scale is based on experience and expertise.
