Commercial Lines Account Manager $80,000-$100,000 We're working with a growing, privately held insurance organization that is expanding its presence throughout the Northeast and is looking to add an experienced Middle Market Commercial Lines Account Manager to the team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, working on a variety of commercial accounts, and being involved in the full account management process from marketing and renewal through ongoing servicing. You'll work closely with clients, producers, carriers, and underwriters to make sure accounts are handled efficiently while providing the level of service and attention that clients expect from a trusted insurance partner. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients while serving as a trusted insurance resource. Review commercial accounts, including coverage, limits, exposures, and overall program structure, and make recommendations when appropriate. Prepare new business and renewal applications and coordinate marketing submissions. Develop client proposals, renewal presentations, and coverage comparisons. Handle day-to-day account transactions, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs), invoices, endorsements, and other policy documentation. Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and key markets. Participate in client renewal meetings and contribute to the overall renewal strategy. Work closely with producers, clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure accounts are handled smoothly and efficiently. Look for opportunities to improve the client experience and provide additional value throughout the relationship. Qualifications 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience. Strong knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty coverages, markets, and policy servicing. Active Property & Casualty insurance license. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of client service. Collaborative, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills. Middle Market Commercial Lines experience strongly preferred.
