Salary + Commission/Bonus Opportunities I am seeking an experienced and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR). This position supports both Personal and Commercial Lines clients and plays a key role in delivering exceptional service while maintaining strong relationships with customers and insurance carriers. Commercial Lines experience is a core requirement for this role. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong Property & Casualty insurance background, I would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by phone and email. Taking care of daily tasks, mail & scanning Assist clients with policy questions, coverage inquiries, endorsements, billing concerns, and service requests, ID cards Communicate with insurance carriers regarding policy status, underwriting requirements, and account servicing. Contact clients regarding cancellation notices, missing information, and policy updates. Process policy changes and endorsements accurately and efficiently. Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs). Prepare insurance applications and assist with underwriting submissions. Follow up on outstanding underwriting information and documentation. Conduct outbound calls to clients and carriers as needed. Maintain accurate client records and agency management system data. Handle multiple priorities while providing professional and friendly service. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience required. Minimum 5 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience required. New York State Property & Casualty License Experience servicing Commercial Lines accounts, including policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and carrier communications. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities. Proficient data entry and computer skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
