Associate Account Manager - Commercial Lines

• Develop a thorough understanding of products, coverage, insurance terminology, and agency management system.
• Develop a thorough understanding of products, coverage, insurance terminology, and agency management system. (Applied EPIC)
• Assist clients in making appropriate coverage changes.
• Respond to clients' needs by producing binders, certificates, policies and other related items accurately and on time.
• Assist Account Managers with marketing and placement of accounts, and preparation of proposals.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, companies, and brokers.
• Assist Account Manager in review of policies and offer suggestions on coverage gaps.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

TYPE & AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of business related experience
• 1 year or more experience in insurance
• Property and Casualty License required

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Applied EPIC is a plus

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

• Ability to organize work and set priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage relationships at all levels throughout the organization and with clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
