Position Summary:

Support the personal line team in servicing and maintaining clients' insurance accounts. This role handles policy documentation, client inquiries, endorsements, renewals, billing questions and other administrative tasks related to personal auto, homeowners, renters, umbrella, and specialty insurance policies. This position allows for career advancement through paid educational training and licensing opportunities to obtain a State license in Personal lines as well as Commercial lines; providing for increased pay and professional opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in insurance, financial services, customer service, or office administration preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Organizational, follow-up, and time management skills Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-service skills Proficiency and Microsoft Office, email, and general business software Ability to work independently and as part of a team High ethical standards and commitment to compliance

Key Responsibilities:

Provide courteous and timely assistance to clients by phone, email and in person Update client records and policy information in the agency management system Assist with renewals by reviewing policies, gathering updated information Review documents for completeness and accuracy while maintaining organized electronic files Follow up with clients regarding applications, signatures, payments, inspections, and outstanding documents Protect confidential client information and follow applicable privacy, compliance, and agency procedures

Working Conditions:

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires regular use of computers and telephones and greets walk-in customers
