15% Annual Bonus Paid Quarterly Job Description Position Summary As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will manage a diverse book of business from professional services to real estate portfolios and construction firms overseeing accounts with multiple coverages, entities, and locations. You will serve as the primary client contact, responsible for renewals, endorsements, certificates, marketing strategy, and client communications. You will work alongside a producer to market, retain, renew, and service commercial client accounts. The ideal candidate brings strong technical insurance knowledge, excellent communication skills, organization, and a sense of urgency. You understand the "why" behind coverage and compliance, and you are passionate about using technology to do your best work. You're confident in communicating with clients and comfortable negotiating with carriers someone who takes ownership and delivers results. Key Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for assigned commercial clients. Respond promptly to requests regarding coverage, certificates, billing, claims support, and policy changes. Conduct comprehensive pre-renewal reviews and identify coverage gaps. Collaborate with producers on larger accounts and independently manage smaller accounts. Prepare and present renewal proposals, binders, and comparisons. Process endorsements, cancellations, and audits through Applied Epic. Work with underwriters and marketing representatives on coverage terms, pricing, and retention strategies. Identify outdated or inadequate coverage and recommend enhancements. Submit new business and renewal submissions, including applications and loss runs. Maintain accurate client records and activity logs in Applied Epic. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of commercial Property & Casualty experience (agency or brokerage setting)

License required (or ability to obtain quickly) Proficiency with agency management systems Strong verbal and written communication — confident with clients and carrier partners Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritize, pivot quickly, and maintain poise under pressure Preferred Qualifications Professional designations like CIC, CISR, CRIS or ARM Experience working with regional MGAs and surplus lines carriers Understanding of coastal property, contractors, nonprofits, or real estate portfolios Prior involvement in account rounding, risk assessment, or stewardship meetings Experience with middle-market accounts ($5K-$50K revenue per account)
