Commercial Lines Account Manager Location:
Florham Park, NJ Work Arrangement:
Hybrid/On-site flexibility
Salary:
$75,000 - $85,000 Position Overview Our client, a growing and well-established independent insurance agency, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team. This individual will manage and a portfolio of commercial construction and real estate insurance accounts while providing exceptional service, developing strong client relationships, and supporting overall agency growth. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication Review coverage needs and provide insurance solutions tailored to client objectives Coordinate renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes Collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal service teams Identify opportunities for account rounding and account growth Ensure a high level of client retention and satisfaction Qualifications 8+ years of commercial insurance experience within in an independent insurance agency Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverage including property, casualty, and related products, specifically related to construction & real estate. Experience managing a book of business independently or working directly with a producer Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple client needs in a fast-paced environment Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
