Commercial Lines-Small Business Unit Account Manager Sunstar Insurance of Kansas Prairie Village, KS Job Details 4 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Marketing Full Job Description Seasoned individuals with experience managing small business accounts. The job responsibilities include expertise in insurance coverages and needs of your accounts, discussing coverages with insured's, marketing new coverages, marketing renewals and working with producers. Negotiating changes and renewal pricing with insurance company underwriters. Daily tasks involve answering clients' requests about coverages, policy forms and endorsements, claim concerns or issues. Attaching emails into the agency management system. Issue proposals. Submitting applications to insurance carriers for renewal marketing in line with agency procedures. Quoting online through company portals, knowledge/experience of carrier portals. Working with producers on client questions and renewal collaboration. The position requires an individual with strong marketing, communication, and customer service skills. The ability to work in Applied Epic. An understanding of policy billing and the ability to prepare Excel spreadsheets. The ability to handle issues with clients and find solutions. The office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We allow occasional remote work with prior approval. In office attire is business casual.
