The Opportunity We are seeking Licensed Life Insurance Agents to join our growing agency. This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-based opportunity with a flexible schedule. There is no guaranteed salary or hourly wage. You do not need years of insurance sales experience to be considered. This position is designed for licensed individuals who are motivated to develop their skills, build a client base, and grow within the insurance industry. Agents will have access to agency support, carrier resources, product education, professional development, and a defined advancement structure. As your production, knowledge, and experience grow, additional opportunities for advancement and leadership may become available. What You'll Do As an Altura Financial Group agent, you will: Meet with individuals, families, and business owners to understand their insurance needs. Educate clients on life insurance options and available benefits. Help clients identify coverage appropriate for their goals, needs, and budget. Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, community involvement, and other approved marketing methods. Conduct appointments virtually, by phone, or in person when appropriate. Build and maintain long-term client relationships. Complete insurance applications and assist clients throughout the underwriting process. Follow up with prospects and existing clients consistently. Participate in product education, sales development, and professional training. Maintain appropriate licensing, carrier requirements, and compliance standards. Qualifications Required:
Active Life Insurance Producer License. Ability to meet applicable insurance carrier contracting and appointment requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to independently manage your schedule and follow-up activities. Reliable access to a computer, phone, and internet connection. Willingness to work in a performance-driven, commission-based environment. Preferred, but not required: Previous sales or customer-service experience. Previous life insurance or financial-services experience. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. Experience working with families, business owners, or professional networks. Interest in business development or future leadership opportunities. Compensation This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity. There is no guaranteed salary or hourly wage. Compensation is based on successfully placed insurance business and varies depending on factors such as the insurance carrier, product, premium, applicable commission schedule, and individual contract.
