This is a direct-hire opportunity created by the upcoming retirement of a longtime team member. This is a close-knit, three-person office where customer relationships and personalized service are at the heart of the business. The selected candidate will primarily support the agency's personal-lines customers, including homeowners, auto, boat, and other personal Property & Casualty insurance products. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, dependable, and genuinely enjoys talking with and helping people. Previous insurance experience is preferred, but the agency is open to considering a licensed candidate with strong customer service skills and the right personality fit. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for personal-lines customers Assist clients with homeowners, auto, boat, and other personal insurance needs Provide professional and friendly customer service by phone, email, and in person Discuss client needs and help identify appropriate coverage options Prepare quotes for new and existing customers Process new policies, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy changes Answer customer questions regarding policies, coverage, premiums, billing, and claims processes Communicate with insurance carriers and underwriters as needed Maintain accurate client and policy records Follow up with customers regarding renewals, coverage changes, and requested information Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients Work collaboratively with the agency owner and commercial-lines agent Qualifications Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
