Duties Engage in outside sales activities to identify new clients and expand existing accounts through proactive outreach and networking. Conduct client consultations to assess insurance needs and present suitable coverage options across property and commercial insurance sectors. Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining compliance with insurance regulations. Manage sales administration tasks including CRM system updates, policy documentation, benefits administration, and client follow-ups. Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries promptly, and offering ongoing support for benefits and claims processes. Analyze client data to recommend appropriate insurance solutions and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling products. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and product knowledge to ensure accurate advice and compliance. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on customer engagement and negotiation skills. Strong analysis skills to evaluate client needs and tailor insurance solutions accordingly. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Knowledge of insurance products including property and casualty, and commercial insurance is preferred. Familiarity with insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements across different jurisdictions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems for sales tracking and client management. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, telemarketing campaigns, and client communication strategies. Understanding of benefits administration processes and customer service best practices. Ability to work independently in outside sales roles while collaborating effectively with team members.
