We currently have a career opening for a Senior Healthcare Sales Executive within the specialty market. Overview This role is a senior-level, highly assertive outside sales position responsible for driving significant new business growth while managing and expanding existing customer relationships through face-to-face meetings, virtual interactions, and telephone engagement. The individual is expected to develop and execute strategic territory plans, identify market opportunities, and consistently exceed sales objectives while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsible for proactive cold calling, prospecting, lead generation, and relationship development that increases account penetration, revenue growth, customer retention, and overall customer satisfaction within the Retina and Neurology distribution markets, including the Buy-and-Bill channel. This position requires a deep understanding of specialty pharmaceutical distribution, reimbursement dynamics, practice workflows, and market trends impacting healthcare providers. The successful candidate will build strong partnerships with physician practices, C-Suite, and key decision-makers to identify unmet needs and position value-driven distribution solutions. They will leverage consultative selling techniques to uncover business opportunities, negotiate agreements, overcome objections, and drive product adoption while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue, utilizing CRM tools to document activities and opportunities, collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, and providing market intelligence to support business strategy. The role requires strong business acumen, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage complex sales cycles in a highly competitive specialty healthcare environment. Territory Territory for this role is any state on the Atlantic coastline and Puerto Rico. Travel 25-40% travel expected (no travel to Puerto Rico) What is expected of you and others at this level Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope Projects may have significant and long-term impact Provides solutions which may set precedent Independently determines method for completion of new projects Receives guidance on overall project objectives Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Qualifications Proven executive sales experience required. Experience within the buy and bill/specialty pharma space required. Pharmaceutical field reimbursement sales experience is a plus. Proven record of aggressive sales prospecting. Comfortable selling to C-suite executives. Must be able to travel the Atlantic coast states.

Anticipated pay range:

$174,600 - $221,600 (includes targeted variable pay) Bonus eligible: Yes, included in the above range.
