Recommends customers to be approved for insurance coverage, and develops policies and premium levels. Reviews loan applications, evaluates credit-worthiness of loan applicants and analyzes the investment risk of a loan for the bank. Evaluates risk in different types of securities and advises clients on investments that will yield highest profits.

We are a fast-growing financial services firm dedicated to providing working capital and funding solutions to businesses nationwide. We pride ourselves on making quick, intelligent funding decisions while delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Underwriter to join our team and grow with us. Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze business funding applications and supporting documentation.
  • Evaluate bank statements, financial statements, and credit reports.
  • Verify applicant information and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assess risk and identify strengths and weaknesses of each file.
  • Work closely with senior underwriters to facilitate timely funding decisions.
  • Communicate with clients and brokers to obtain any additional required documentation
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with other underwriting and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications
  • Previous experience in banking, funding, underwriting, finance, or a similar analytical role is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional, dependable, and eager to learn.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
