This role is ideal for a high-performing underwriting professional with deep expertise in Manufacturers & Contractors, Excess & Surplus Lines, and Wholesale Brokerage Distribution. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing and growing a profitable book of business while serving as a trusted technical expert and partner to our broker network. You'll have the opportunity to influence underwriting strategy, mentor team members, and help drive continued growth within our E&S portfolio. What You'll Do Underwrite and manage a profitable Manufacturers & Contractors book of business Evaluate new and renewal accounts, pricing, coverage, and risk acceptability Develop strong relationships with wholesale brokers and distribution partners Negotiate complex coverage issues and deliver creative solutions Analyze emerging trends, claims activity, and market opportunities Serve as a technical underwriting resource and mentor for colleagues Drive profitable growth through strategic underwriting and business development initiatives Qualifications What We're Looking For 10+ years of Manufacturers & Contractors underwriting experience Strong Excess & Surplus (E&S) Lines background Experience working within Wholesale Brokerage Distribution channels Primary Liability underwriting experience (required) Proven ability to build broker relationships and grow business profitably CPCU, ASLI, AU, or other industry designations preferred #LI-ND1 #

Base Salary Range:
Senior Underwriter:
80K-138
K Executive Underwriter:
114K-175K Eligible for bonus
