A respected and growing insurance organization is seeking a Senior Life Underwriter to join its team and play a key role in evaluating complex life insurance applications and delivering sound underwriting decisions. What You'll Do Underwrite individual life insurance applications within established authority limits. Assess medical, financial, and non-medical risk factors to determine appropriate risk classifications. Analyze complex cases and make recommendations that balance profitability and customer experience. Collaborate with internal partners, agents, and medical professionals to gather information and resolve underwriting questions. Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for peers on challenging cases. What We're Looking For 7+ years of life insurance underwriting experience. Strong knowledge of risk selection, medical underwriting, and life insurance products. Proven ability to review and evaluate complex underwriting cases. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. FLMI, FALU, CLU, or progress toward industry designations preferred.
