Full-Time, Direct Hire with Company About the Opportunity Our insurance agency is seeking a dependable and detail-driven Underwriter Assistant to join our team as a direct hire employee. This role supports our underwriting department with processing, documentation, and communication to ensure smooth and accurate workflow. We're looking for someone who enjoys structure, problem-solving, and working in a professional office environment. Key Responsibilities Review and process incoming insurance applications and submissions Assist in preparing quotes, binders, endorsements, and certificates Maintain organized and accurate underwriting files Track renewals and follow up on missing or outstanding information Communicate with agents, carriers, and internal team members Enter and update data in agency management systems Support marketing and quoting efforts as needed Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Insurance or underwriting experience preferred but not required What We Offer Direct hire position with long-term stability Monday-Friday daytime schedule Competitive salary based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth
