2996437322-2 Apply for this job now Job Description FM is seeking an Account Engineer, Boiler & Machinery to evaluate and manage equipment-related risks for industrial and commercial clients. In this role, you will assess boiler and machinery exposures, review maintenance practices and loss history, and provide technical recommendations that inform underwriting decisions. You'll collaborate with underwriters, engineers, and claims teams, conduct site visits and inspections, and deliver clear reports that help clients improve reliability, safety, and compliance. This position offers a mix of analytical work, client interaction, and field exposure in a hybrid environment. Responsibilities Evaluate boiler and machinery risks for industrial and commercial clients. Perform technical reviews of equipment, maintenance practices, and loss history. Develop underwriting recommendations and pricing for boiler and machinery coverage. Collaborate with engineering, underwriting, and claims teams to reduce loss potential. Prepare clear technical reports and risk improvement recommendations. Support brokers and clients with coverage explanations and technical guidance. Participate in client visits, surveys, and inspections as needed. Monitor portfolio performance and contribute to risk management strategies. Stay current on codes, standards, and industry best practices. Assist in claims investigations with technical input when required.
