Job Description
This is your opportunity to join AXIS Capital
- a trusted global provider of specialty lines insurance and reinsurance.
Activities include:
Diligence- Conduct analysis on underlying risks and related industries/subject matters, transaction structures, motivations, and 'know your customer'. Design & Negotiate
- Develop solution structures based on the client's objectives and the company's profitability goals. Draft manuscript structural terms including NBIs, quotations, and policy language. Cross-functional Deal Review
- Lead transaction reviews with relevant internal stakeholders, including the ART team, actuarial/pricing, legal/wording, Line of Business underwriting experts, claims, and senior referral leaders. Relationship & Marketing
- Participate in marketing, product development, business origination, broker/client relationship management, and thought leadership. Compliance
- Maintain strict adherence to and accountability for underwriting processes, compliance, and deal documentation. Deal Maintenance
- Provide post-bind handoff, monitoring , and support.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Strong analytical, structuring , and quantitative skills as a P&C underwriter or an ART actuary. P&C insurance or reinsurance underwriting experience. Experience drafting or negotiating manuscript terms and partnering effectively with legal and contract-wording professionals. Excellent communication and networking skills , with the ability to present complex transactions to senior decision-makers. Strong negotiation and deal management/execution skills. Detail-oriented, thorough, efficient, accountable, and compliance-minded. Collaborative team player with ability to learn new products quickly.Preferred:
Experience in Casualty lines, loss-sensitive/swing programs, large-deductible and corridor-retention structures. captive fronting, and fully reimbursed fronting programs. Knowledge of accounting and finance is a plus. For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $235,000 to $270,000. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location. In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
