Introduction:
Our client, a Reinsurance Broker is looking for a high caliber candidate to fulfil the above-mentioned position.
Details are as followings:
Responsibilities:
Develop new business opportunities, channels, and products in line with the Company's business plan to drive profitable growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, reinsurers, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful business placements and client servicing. Handle daily broking functions including the preparation of quotation / proposal, the handling of renewal accounts, the communication with cedants and reinsurers in relation to the insurance placements. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and industry events to expand the Company's market presence. Perform credit control duties and take corresponding actions including following up outstanding premium payment with clients if necessary.
Requirements:
Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. ANZII qualification is preferred. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). 7 years of relevant experience in general insurance industry; prior experience as a reinsurance broker would be an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated, well-organised, detail-minded, and good sense of responsibility. Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Broker.
