Insurance Underwriter Specialty Program Excess Surplus Commercial Lines Program Underwriter Allied Healthcare Pharmacies Medical Rehab Centers etc _ . Industry leader seeks an experienced Medical Rehab Businesses Underwriter to evaluate risk, select, and price submissions.

The Job:
  • Underwrite individual risk selection for Medical Rehabilitation businesses including: Medical Device Fitters and Suppliers; Surgical Supply Stores; Therapy Centers; Prosthetic Repair and Adjustment; Medical Equipment Rental, Maintenance & Repair; Pharmacies; etc..
  • Serve as a resource to subordinate underwriting levels, other underwriting departments, and agents.
  • Communicate underwriting appetite and strategies to agents.
  • Develop new agency relationships and maintain core group of agents.
  • Assist management with form development and enhancement.
Required:
  • Bachelors in Economics, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or similar field.
  • 2+ years of Excess
  • Umbrella, Excess & Surplus, Commercial, or similar Insurance underwriting experience.
  • Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Risk Management, Associate in Commercial Underwriting, or similar professional designation.
