  • Job Description The Opportunity As a part of the SmartAuction Management team, the Analyst II
  • Dealer Credit Underwriter
  • assists management with the underwriting of SmartAuction dealer accounts and ensures strict adherence to company risk management policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities may include dealer interface/service; developing and driving a culture of continuous improvement; concentrating on areas of risk and loss prevention. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert to internal and external customers/matrix partners. Customarily and regularly exercises independent judgment/critical/analytical thinking. Considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
The Work Itself Enhance profitability:
Seek and act on opportunities to reduce operating costs. Adhere to company policies/procedures and escalate any matters that are not compliant. Follow departmental processes to ensure established metrics are achieved, dealer and matrix partners' expectations are met, and loss exposure is mitigated. Proactively work to resolve internal conflicts and develop effective working relationships. May interface with senior management to convey information. Conduct proactive risk recognition. Ensure dealer's daily limits are appropriate based on risk factors, sales rates, volume and seasonal / market fluctuations. Ensure outstandings remain within established dealer limits. Complete underwriting as well as applicable due diligence on SmartAuction / White Label dealerships with data obtained from both internal and external sources. Participate in regular meetings to review / discuss assigned portfolio and develop strategies for account monitoring; Establish appropriate action plans to mitigate risk and address any risk concerns. Manage exposure by utilizing current company risk management policies, procedures and guidelines and ensure strict compliance. Seek opportunities to drive additional efficiencies and effectiveness into the SmartAuction processes. Provide superior customer service. The Skills You Bring HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate / bachelor's degree in business related discipline preferred. 3 + years in financial services or similar industry is needed. Prior leadership experience is preferred. Education may be used as a proxy for experience. Perform technical tasks required to support ongoing business operations. Typically requires comfortable knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.
