Job Description

Selling Partner Services (SPS) is the organization that makes high-stakes decisions across a wide range of customers and partners. Preserving Trust in Amazon with every customer, every transaction, every second is our mission. We do this by identifying and removing bad actors from the platform, while supporting a great customer experience. We ensure that Amazon is a safe and trustworthy place to shop and an amazing place to build a successful business selling products. Within SPS, our Financial Risk Mitigation team works to protect customers and sellers from financial harm caused by fraudulent activity. We reduce the impact of bad actors on our store, keeping both buyers and selling partners safe.

We solve hard problems that require both new technology and creative thinking. We don't just use existing tools — we invent new ones to stay ahead of constantly evolving threats. We work across many teams at Amazon, balancing trade-offs and solving challenges that have real impact on hundreds of millions of people. Key job responsibilities- Develop large scale, high performance, high reliability systems.
- Work as the owner of the system and operate excellent to provide stable and robust services to customers and other teams.
- Innovate based on new ideas and build comprehensive system/features.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications
