We are adding an Investment Manager to our small team to participate in every stage of our work, from initial founder meetings and site diligence to financial modeling, deal structuring, and active post-close operational support. What the Work Entails You will stay close to our investments through their entire lifecycle, working side-by-side with our partners and portfolio leadership.

Practical Underwriting:

Build clear, auditable models directly from source records, general ledgers, tax returns, and operating logs, to stress-test downside risks and true cash flow.

On-Site Diligence:

Inspect physical facilities, assess equipment, meet plant supervisors, and speak with key customers. We believe critical operational realities are found on the shop floor, not in pitch decks.

Transaction Execution:

Manage deals through closing alongside outside legal counsel, regional lenders, and accountants, ensuring documentation aligns with agreed-upon terms.

Post-Close Operating Support:

Serve as a reliable sounding board for portfolio leadership, assisting with capital expenditure reviews, working capital management, and early bottleneck resolution.

Portfolio Health:

Track bank covenants, evaluate recapitalization options, and provide transparent performance updates to our partners. What We Look For 3 to 5 years in private equity, corporate development, commercial credit, or transaction advisory. Proven ability to construct grounded, formula-driven models that avoid hidden assumptions or speculative growth targets. The ability to communicate thoughtfully and earn the trust of business owners, plant operators, and lenders alike. An instinct to look beneath reported earnings to understand inventory churn, deferred maintenance, and customer concentration. Based in or relocating to Montgomery, working on-site with occasional regional travel to partner facilities.
