Asset Manager and Network Engineer

    A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the client needs.

    As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in network design and architecture, system interoperability, network device configuration and usage, as well as virtual routing and forwarding to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll help support the development of enterprise-wide management solutions, work through complex device integration tasks and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical workflows.

    You'll apply your expertise as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the client evolve and deploy new capability and technologies.

    Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients and engineers on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security-related missions.

    You Have:
    • 5+ years of experience with configuring and interacting with various network devices such as routers or switches, including command line or terminal usage
    • 3+ years of experience with asset management and organizational tasking
    • 3+ years of experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation or optimization
    • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, modifying, documenting, and integrating technical solutions using Agile methods
    • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
    • Experience managing software solutions developed, tested, and deployed on multiple OS variants, including UNIX or Linux
    • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
    • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in network engineering in lieu of a degree
    Nice If You Have:
    • Experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, workflows, site maintenance, APIs, or web development stacks, including Python or React
    • Experience with CNO Development
    • Experience with service cyber components
    • Ability to debug, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain the operation of application code
    • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
