$85,000-$100,000 per year Join a Community Bank That Values Relationships We're seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our Commercial Credit team in Salem, New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a banking professional who enjoys financial analysis, commercial lending, and credit risk management while working closely with lenders and business clients. What You'll Do As a Portfolio Manager, you'll help oversee an assigned portfolio of commercial credit relationships while supporting underwriting, financial analysis, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Key Responsibilities Analyze commercial borrowers' financial statements, cash flow, and creditworthiness Perform credit underwriting and evaluate new and existing lending opportunities Prepare annual credit reviews, renewals, and risk assessments Monitor commercial loan portfolios for covenant compliance and overall asset quality Identify potential credit concerns and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies Assist with structuring commercial loan transactions and financing solutions Maintain accurate loan files, documentation, and portfolio records Partner closely with Commercial Lenders and Credit Administration to support lending activities Participate in client meetings and relationship management efforts when appropriate Prepare reports and credit recommendations for internal stakeholders Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and underwriting standards What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio management, or commercial lending Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and commercial credit underwriting Experience managing or supporting commercial loan portfolios Ability to evaluate financial risk and make sound credit recommendations Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word Why Join Our Team?
