Development Geology:
Formalize and executes Cyrq's opportunity screening workflows for resource and acreage capture. Create and steward a geospatial database of relevant land, infrastructure, and subsurface data necessary to high-grade acreage and place peer company or other industry activity in context. Analyze market trends and results to inform Cyrq's land strategy. Steward Cyrq's subsurface opportunity portfolio. Provide cartographic services to the company's stakeholders, including land, legal, resource, engineering, and operations. Perform early stage prospect maturation workflows including geologic mapping, coordination of geophysical and geochemical data acquisition, power capacity estimates, and techno-economic evaluations. Perform geologic analysis of operating resource asset Masters degree or higher in geology, geophysics, or a related field. Foundational understanding of geothermal resource principles, including structural geology and hydrothermal circulation. Experience with geographic information systems (GIS) Experience with data curation, analysis, and statistics Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills enabling the individual to motivate others Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to complete domestic travel, up to 25%. Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences including technicians, engineers, stakeholders, vendors, and partners Ability to sit, for prolonged periods of time. Ability to stand, twist, stoop/bend, squat, kneel, crawl, reach, push, pull, and climb stairs or ladders regularly during each shift. When in field or plant locations: Ability to hike long distances and perform geologic field work Ability to tolerate remote environments, indoor /outdoor work, wildlife, possible dust, dirt, and wind, including any weather typical for all seasons in southern CA, NV, and UT. Ability to don all forms of required Personal Protective Equipment and work at heights of up to 50'. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
