Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Client Portfolio Manager to join the Client Portfolio Management team, based in Boston. The ideal candidate should have a fixed income background, although experience across multiple asset classes would be highly beneficial.Role Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate Insight's history and value proposition as an asset management firm.
- Effectively communicate the firm's product offerings (including Mutual Funds, CITs and ETFs) and investment philosophy, processes and resources to strategically position the firm against industry competitors, ultimately driving new business.
- Function as a champion of the business working with the broader distribution and investment teams to determine proper positioning of strategies and represent the firm and its products with internal and external sales teams and end clients.
- Maintain highly consultative and solutions-based discussions with existing and prospective investors.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of marketing and materials including fund commentaries and investment reports.
- Inform and support the development of our product offering to include additional mutual funds, ETFs, CITs and SMA platform.
- Contribute market intelligence to Insights monitoring of the competitive landscape.
Experience Required:
- Ideally 8-10 years' experience in a client-facing technical role such as marketing or product specialist.
- Strong investment and analytical acumen, with candidates having attained CFA/and or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to succinctly and effectively explain complex ideas.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with peer professionals including portfolio management teams, research team and distribution professionals.
- Independent work style and a level of high self-motivation.
- Understanding of AI-enabled tools, technologies, and practical applications, with the ability to apply these appropriately within the role to enhance productivity, decision-making, or business outcomes.
