full-time [ Position ] Plant Asset Manager [ Summary ] Based on-site at a chemical facility's Central Utility Plant (CUP), the Plant Asset Manager oversees core utility systems-including steam and chilled water-while ensuring the O&M contractor fulfills contractual requirements through daily operator communication. This role is responsible for developing annual maintenance plans and budgets, managing customer contract risks, and coordinating stakeholder alignment. While daily management remains autonomous under normal conditions, the role retains the authority to exercise Owner's step-in rights when authorized to conduct necessary services. Additionally, you will leverage your industry expertise to advise the Business Development Team on new industrial energy projects across the United States. [ Essential Duties ] Monitor plant operating conditions through as needed communication with on-site operators Analyze root causes of incidents and confirm/report preventive measures Coordinate the preparation of O&M budgets and manage budget vs. actual performance Conduct risk management based on various contracts (customers, O&M contractors) Plan and propose equipment upgrades and performance improvements as needed Act as the primary liaison with Customer and stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication. Manage emergency responses Authorize maintenance tasks and expenditures in accordance with the Agreement's approval thresholds Develop and prepare the Annual Maintenance Plan and O&M Budget. Manage Budget vs. Actual performance and authorize expenditures within contractual thresholds Technical advice for customer facilities, including boilers, chillers, compressors, and other utility equipment. [ Working Hours / Working style ] 09:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday ?This position request frequent on-site service and nationwide travels as needed. [ Working Location ] Moore, SC [ Salary / Benefit ] $150K-180K (DOE) PTO, SL Insurance?
