DESCRIPTION
Are you an organizational powerhouse who thrives on keeping a fast-paced team running smoothly? Amazon's Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) network is looking for a General Manager Assistant to serve as the operational backbone of our site leadership team. In this role, you'll partner directly with the site's General Manager and senior leaders to manage complex calendars, coordinate cross-functional meetings, plan associate engagement events, and drive internal communications that keep hundreds of team members informed and connected. You'll own the rhythm of business — from weekly leadership agendas to large-scale seasonal celebrations — while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Key job responsibilities Manage executive schedules, travel, and meeting logistics Plan and execute site events (recognition programs, holiday celebrations, morale initiatives) Support Employee Relations and HR coordination, including onboarding and associate communications Create internal communications — announcements, newsletters, visual content Track deliverables, compile reports, and drive accountability for leadership action items Coordinate with cross-functional partners including HR, Safety, Recruiting, and Maintenance This is a high-visibility role for someone who loves variety, takes pride in making things happen behind the scenes, and genuinely enjoys building a great workplace culture. A day in the life Your day starts by reviewing the site leader's calendar — resolving conflicts, prepping agendas, and ensuring the right people are in the right rooms. From there, you'll shift between coordinating associate engagement events, drafting internal communications, and partnering with HR, Safety, and Recruiting teams to keep site operations running smoothly. You're the go-to person when leadership needs something tracked, planned, or communicated. Some weeks you're organizing a holiday celebration; others you're compiling reports or supporting sensitive employee relations matters. No two days look the same — and that's what makes it exciting. About the team The Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) team gets critical infrastructure and equipment to Amazon facilities across North America — fast. We support new site launches, expansions, and ongoing operational needs, and we do it with a hands-on, people-first culture. You'll work alongside operations leaders, HR partners, safety teams, and frontline associates every day. As the General Manager Assistant, you sit at the center — connecting leadership decisions to the people they impact, keeping everyone informed and engaged, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks
