TSSCI Asset Manager

Job Description An employer is looking for an Asset Manager to sit at the Pentagon. This candidate is responsible for the full lifecycle management of over 8,000 critical IT assets. This role manages all stockroom and inventory operations, including receiving, asset tagging, secure storage, reporting, and proper disposal of IT equipment while adhering to strict SCIF security protocols and Two‑Person Integrity (TPI) requirements. Serving as a key point of contact for leadership and technical teams, the asset manager ensures accurate accountability, operational readiness, and secure logistics in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility, mission‑critical environment.

Compensation:

$30/hr to $34/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Skills and Requirements Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility Proven experience in IT asset management, inventory control, or a related logistics role Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Direct experience working in a Pentagon, military command center, or high‑security DoD/IC environment Familiarity with SCIF security procedures and handling classified IT equipment Experience using IT asset management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Sunflower, or similar enterprise inventory tools) Working knowledge of ITIL principles, specifically IT Asset Management (ITAM) Exceptional organizational skills Strong experience using Microsoft Excel or similar tools to manage and report on large data sets Prior experience supporting senior leadership or high‑visibility missions Comfort working in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments with strict accountability requirements
