Position Summary:
The Loan Administration Specialist II position's primary responsibility is to coordinate and prepare various types of new, modified, and renewed loan requests. This position works collaboratively with loan analysts and loan officers to facilitate smooth and timely closings.Major Duties and Accountabilities:
Takes part and embraces the Legacy Culture and gives outstanding customer service to internal and external customers. Responsible for preparing and coordinating the loan closing process. Comply with all bank policies and procedures regarding areas of assignment and responsibility. Must be knowledgeable in the loan department processes. This position must coordinate and prepare loan closings for the bank's commercial, agricultural, consumer andTILA/RESPA
credit. Uses the Bank's loan policy and processes to request loan documents according to approval, collateral, and additional documentation. Communicates lending staff regarding status of loan requests, missing information needed from the lender/borrower. Utilize bank's software systems to work efficiently to complete the loan process as well as upload all relevant loan documents. Prepare, review, and assemble loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policy and federal banking regulations. Prepare funding documentation as needed. Reviews imaging system for documentation deficiencies for renewals and modification requests. Formulate professionally written responses to incoming internal and external customer emails with accurate information and withing the established timelines. Other responsibilities as assigned.Requirements:
Required:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent. 5-year previous banking/loan experience. Strong computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred:
Knowledge of Farmer Mac, FSA, and SBA guarantee loan products. Knowledge ofTILA RESPA
Integrated Disclosure rule. Knowledge of loan terminology and elements/process required to close a loan. Knowledge of general banking principles and federal and/or state regulatory lending laws.Benefits
