First Commercial Bank (USA) has 7 branches in California. We are currently looking for a SBA Loan Officer for our SBA Department. SUMMARY Responsible for loan origination, underwriting, SBA processing, closing, and servicing in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures and SBA Standard Operation Procedure (SOP). Ensures compliance with all regulations as they relate to functions within the supervision, including Bank Secrecy Act. DUTIES Coordinate and/or oversee the origination, underwriting, preparing loan authorization & E-tran submission, legal and credit documentation, and closing and servicing process according to the Bank and the SBA's credit policies and program guidelines. Ensure controls are in place to adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with all internal departments to preserve the SBA guaranty for all funded SBA loans. Responsible for developing/amending procedures and integration of SBA requirements in the Bank's loan policy. Create and implement processes for portfolio management, loan servicing, underwriting, loan closing, and management of SBA loan transactions. Responsible for problem resolution, relating to SBA portfolio: identify, troubleshoot, and resolve underwriting, closing, servicing, and reporting issues. Responsible for developing depository opportunities for existing and new SBA customers. Accept other duties including special projects as deemed necessary by the supervisor. •
