Job Description

Job Summary/Organizational Impact The Escrow Assistant provides administrative and transaction support throughout the escrow process for residential and commercial real estate transactions. This position works closely with escrow officers, clients, agents, lenders, and other transaction parties to help ensure escrow files are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company and industry requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable managing multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities/Essential Functions Provide administrative support throughout the opening, processing, and closing of residential and commercial escrow transactions. Assist with opening new escrow files and maintaining accurate and complete transaction records. Prepare, process, organize, and distribute escrow documents and correspondence. Order and follow up on demands, payoff statements, and other required documentation. Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical escrow files. Communicate escrow requirements, deadlines, and other transaction-related information to clients, agents, lenders, and other parties as directed. Provide professional and responsive customer service to clients and transaction partners. Perform a variety of general administrative and clerical duties in support of the escrow office. Responsible for opening and closing the office daily. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry. Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional, positive, and enthusiastic demeanor with the ability to create a positive experience for clients and business partners. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions, deadlines, tasks, and projects simultaneously. Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
Special Job Dimension:
Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs. Position requires infrequent local travel (20% of the time) with company vehicle within the High Desert. If personal vehicle is required for use, mileage reimbursement will be issued according to reimbursement policy.
