Role Description Reporting to Managing Director, the Associate is responsible for supporting the asset management and loan servicing of Fundamental Renewables' portfolio of solar and battery storage project finance loans. Core responsibilities include loan portfolio monitoring, internal analysis and reporting and borrower management which includes confirming covenant compliance, review of borrower reporting, ongoing project diligence support, and draw processing. Essential Job Functions
- Monitoring and analyzing each borrower's financial and operational performance
- Administering loan agreements and servicing requirements
- Tracking financial covenants and reporting obligations
- Reviewing development and construction progress and validating project milestones
- Processing loan draws, repayments, interest payments, and payoffs
- Coordinating amendments, waivers, and consents with the deal team
- Managing interactions with borrowers, legal counsel, and other third parties
- Preparing internal portfolio reports and risk assessments
- Monitoring collateral and compliance with loan documents
- Supporting workouts, restructurings and distressed situations, when necessary
- Maintaining accurate servicing records and portfolio databases
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Experience and Qualifications
- 2-4 years' experience in project finance, asset management, loan servicing, or commercial banking.
- Self-motivated, self-directed and has the ability to independently manage concurrent projects and set priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of management; excellent teamwork skills
- Strong understanding of loan documentation and covenant compliance
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple active loans simultaneously
- Outstanding quantitative and technical skills including familiarity with financial modeling
- Microsoft Office product knowledge - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong financial modeling, oral and written communication abilities
- Good, foundational understanding of renewable energy industry transaction structures and market characteristics
- Ability to pay attention to detail that inspires confidence
- Familiarity with renewable energy project finance is preferred Education Undergraduate degree, preferably in Finance, Operations or Business.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, and occasional evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel is less than 10% of the time.
Compensation Base Salary Range:
$150,000-$175,000. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and other benefits.
