Job Description

You survived one of the toughest mortgage markets in decades. You got licensed. You learned the business. You kept going.
Now ask yourself:
If you're giving this career everything you have, why aren't the results matching the effort? You don't need another recruiter promising "great culture" or "competitive comp." What matters is whether your environment is actually making you a better Loan Officer. Producing Alone Is Still Producing Alone More calls. More leads. More follow-up. More effort doesn't automatically create more skill. Better discovery. Better positioning. Better objection handling. Better closing. That requires coaching. We're Built More Like a Team Than a Sales Floor Valorem Lending operates like a competitive sports team. We practice. We review performance. We coach. We adjust. Then we compete again. Training doesn't stop after onboarding, and coaching isn't reserved for someone who's struggling. Your skill set should look different six months from now than it does today. The Right Environment Should Help You Produce Coaching matters, but so does everything around you. At Valorem, Loan Officers have: Company-provided leads In-house support throughout the loan process A team that works together instead of operating in silos A schedule built around producing at a high level without sacrificing your entire life Ongoing coaching designed to sharpen the skills that actually drive production The goal isn't to simply give you more opportunity. It's to help you become good enough to capitalize on it — and earn the paycheck you came into this business for. This Is Not for Every Loan Officer If you want to be left alone to work your pipeline your way, this probably isn't the right environment. We expect Loan Officers to want feedback, apply it, and improve. For the right person, that can change the trajectory of a career. Who We're Looking For Loan Officers who: Hold an active NMLS license Have proven they can compete in a difficult market Know they're capable of producing at a higher level Want real coaching, not simply management Are competitive, accountable and coachable Want to become materially better at originating You don't need to come here as a finished product. You do need to want to become one.
