- Key Responsibilities Oversee escrow transactions end-to-end — open, title clearance, document prep/review, balancing, disbursements, funding, recording, and post-close Supervise, train, and mentor escrow officers and assistants, maintaining high standards for accuracy, performance, and client service Manage complex and high-volume files, resolving issues as they arise Ensure strict compliance with DFPI and all applicable regulations; conduct audits, reconciliations, and risk mitigation Handle trust accounting: process daily incoming wires, deposit funds into general and trust accounts, and perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations Build and strengthen relationships with agents, lenders, and clients through in-person and direct communication; support business development efforts Identify and implement workflow improvements that support operational excellence and growth Qualifications 5-7+ years of progressive California escrow experience, including a track record of successfully running a producing desk Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred; eligibility for DFPI manager approval strongly preferred Transferable book of business highly desirable Strong working knowledge of California escrow, title, compliance, and closing practices; Notary certification a plus Excellent organizational, multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail Proficient with major escrow software platforms and Microsoft Office Able to reliably work full-time, on-site High school diploma or equivalent, plus relevant continuing education A bit about us:•This is an in-office position Monday through Friday •
