Job Description
The Dolores State Bank has an immediate opening for a Lender in Cortez, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have experience within a professional atmosphere, excellent customer service, and communication skills, both oral and written. Lending experience is desired, but not required. Applicants must have a willingness to make decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgement. Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist loan applicants with the application process for commercial, agriculture, mortgage and consumer loans.
- Reviews applications from potential borrowers and works with applicants toward successful financing
- Works with loan applicants to secure all necessary documentation to underwrite the loan
- Analyzes documentation and prepares presentations for loan committee
- Responsible for coordinating with compliance department to ensure applications and subsequent loans comply with policies and regulations
- Facilitates timely loan closing and funding activities
- Manage and collect past due loans, manage work-outs or default situations Starting pay dependent on skills and experience.
