SVP Commercial/Agricultural Lending - Sterling, CO

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Ag & Commercial Loan Officer to join our Sterling market team. This position is designed for a proven lender with demonstrated success in commercial and agricultural lending, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to grow and manage a quality loan portfolio. The role may be filled at the AVP, VP, or SVP level, depending on experience, performance history, and depth of market expertise. What You'll Do Develop, originate, and manage a diverse loan portfolio including agricultural, commercial, real estate, construction, and consumer loans Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service Analyze credit requests and ensure sound underwriting Participate in loan committee activities as appropriate Cross-sell bank products and services Maintain compliance with lending regulations and bank policy Engage in community and agricultural activities What We're Looking For We welcome candidates with varied backgrounds and experience levels, including: Experienced agricultural and/or commercial lenders (SVP level) with 10+years of Commercial Lending Candidates with prior experience in sales, banking, credit analysis, or financial services Individuals with knowledge of the Colorado agricultural industry Recent college graduates or early-career professionals interested in starting a career in lending Preferred Qualifications (not all required): Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience) Commercial Lending School diploma/certificate a plus General understanding of lending practices and regulations (training available) NMLS license or ability to obtain one We welcome candidates with varied backgrounds, including experienced lenders, early-career professionals, and recent graduates. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Agribusiness, Finance, or Accounting; knowledge of agricultural lending; and NMLS license or ability to obtain one.

Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:

$95,000 - $150,500 annually, dependent on experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement plan, PTO, bonuses, and more.
