Job Description

We are looking for a Loan Administrator to support complex real estate and development-related financing activities in Florida. This long-term contract position will focus on underwriting, loan administration, and financial coordination tied to multifamily development, capital improvement initiatives, and asset performance. The role requires an organized individual who can manage documentation, evaluate project financials, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the loan lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee loan administration activities for real estate and development projects, ensuring files, approvals, and funding records remain accurate and current.
  • Conduct underwriting reviews by analyzing project financials, development assumptions, and risk factors to support sound lending decisions.
  • Coordinate permitting-related financial items, including tracking impact fees and maintaining supporting documentation for project compliance.
  • Monitor construction budgets, schedules, and funding progress to help identify variances, control costs, and maintain alignment with project objectives.
  • Support procurement and payment oversight for furniture, fixtures, and equipment while working with vendors to manage pricing and delivery expectations.
  • Perform market research and due diligence to assess asset performance, leasing conditions, and broader investment considerations.
  • Assist with payoff calculations, close-out activities, and bond exoneration processes at the conclusion of projects or financing milestones.
  • Prepare financial models and reports that help evaluate project feasibility, capital needs, and overall loan performance.
  • Partner with owners, consultants, and service providers to address issues quickly and help maintain momentum during critical project phases.
